Need help with student financial aid? Hosted by United Way of Clallam County’s Student Financial Aid Liaison, these sessions are an easy way to get your question answered before you submit a FAFSA or WASFA, or the perfect place to find the support to get started with financial aid!

Explore concepts presented in the book Remember: The Science of Memory and the Art of Forgetting, written by neuroscientist and acclaimed novelist Lisa Genova (Still Alice), who explains how memories are made and how we retrieve them. Olympic National Park Perspectives: Winter Speaker Series

Dealing with Asian Clams, a New Aquatic Invader on the Olympic Peninsula

In cooperation with Olympic National Park, Professor David Cowles, Ph.D., and a team of students from Walla Walla University studied the spread of the clam in Lake Ozette and later in Lake Crescent. In this talk, Dr. Cowles will examine the state of the clam’s spread so far as well as discuss what effects it may have on our native species and what preventive measures may be helpful.

Teens in 7th-12th grade can come to a monthly meetup in Clallam Bay and Forks to talk about manga titles, watch anime, and learn about Japanese culture.

Friday, April 14, 6-7:30pm at the Sequim Branch Library

Free board games, art, and pizza for 7th-12th graders after hours at the Sequim Branch Library on the second Friday of each month. Bring your own games or play one from the collection. There will also be drawing, origami, and other art projects.

Maker Boxes – Port Angeles & Sequim

Wednesday, 4-6pm, and third Saturdays, 10am-12pm, at the Port Angeles Main Library
Available all day, every day the Library is open at the Sequim Branch Library

Teens can drop in and use the Library’s supplies to try art, craft, and building activities.
