The North Olympic Library System is the place for special events and activities for all ages and interests. The Library sponsors storytimes and reading readiness programs for children, film showings, author visits, and community information programs, library orientations and tours and much more. Build early literacy skills and healthy bodies at the same time during Yoga Storytime! This interactive storytime will feature stories, songs, yoga poses, and breathing exercises for children and their caregivers. No yoga experience necessary!
NOLS is partnering with local grocery stores to offer a scavenger hunt that turns an ordinary shopping trip into an interactive learning experience for parents, caregivers, and young children!
NOLS offers nine weekly storytimes between September and May. Other special storytimes are offered throughout the year at each branch. Library storytimes create critically important early literacy opportunities for young children and their parents or caregivers.
