Read & Eat Gatherings

Do you love browsing cookbooks? Would you like a reason to learn to cook or try something new? Try out the new Read and Eat Gathering on the third Saturday of every month at the Forks Branch Library at 1pm and the third Monday of every month at the Clallam Bay Branch Library at 6:30pm.


Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a year-long collaborative project between NOLS and schools from around Clallam County, including homeschooled students. From October through February, Library staff will hold book discussions at fourth-grade classrooms, as well as facilitate a homeschooled group.


Storytime at the Farmers Market

NOLS is hitting the road to offer a special storytime at the Port Angeles Farmers Market on Saturday, September 8 at 10:30am. September is Food Literacy month in Washington, so bring the child in your life to the market to enjoy stories, songs, and rhymes, and learn about where food comes from.


Conflict Resolution presented by Laura O’Neal

Are you the “go-to” person friends and family turn to? Do you wish you had more skill to communicate with coworkers or customers? Do you manage others, work with the public, teach, or train others? Conflict is normal and unavoidable, but can be managed effectively in a healthy way with the right tools.


NOLS Pool Party

Make a splash and celebrate your reading accomplishments at the annual Summer Reading Program Pool Party! The party will take place on Saturday, August 18 from 3-5pm at the Sequim YMCA pool, 610 N. Fifth Avenue. This free event is open to all Summer Reading Program participants and their families.
