Free creative workshops for grades 4-6, Port Angeles Main Library, July 2 and 9

Port Angeles, WA – Tweens in grades 4-6 are invited to two free creative workshops at the Port Angeles Main Library, 2210 S. Peabody St. All supplies are provided. On Thursday, July 2, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., participants will make magical woodland terrariums with animal and plant figurines. On Thursday, July 9, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Peninsula Performs artist Kaylee Cammack will lead a hands-on gel printing workshop, where tweens will create colorful prints on paper.

Free social events for gardening enthusiasts with NOLS and Clallam County Master Gardeners, July 9 and Aug. 1

The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) invites plant-lovers to free social events during the “Plant a Seed, Read” Summer Reading Program. Volunteers from Clallam County Master Gardeners will be available to help attendees with their plant problems, identify plants and insects, and provide information on sustainable gardening and other topics. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions and issues they are facing with their gardens.
