North Olympic Library Foundation

The North Olympic Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) created to provide enduring support for the North Olympic Library System, its services, programs and collections. If you wish to support the Library but must donate to a 501(c)(3), donating to the Foundation is a good option.

The Foundation accepts donations online through their website or through the Clallam Community Foundation of United Way. The Foundation and United Way of Clallam County have partnered to fund the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Clallam County.

Memorial Gifts and Legacies

Memorial Gifts: Gifts may be made in honor or in memoriam of a person or event. Written acknowledgement of such a gift will be made to the donor and others as requested.

Memorial Gift Funds: On occasion friends or family members ask the Library to establish a memorial gift fund to receive larger donations from multiple donors, in the name of a departed loved one.

Wills/Bequests: Leave a true legacy reflecting your love of libraries by naming North Olympic Library System in your estate plans. If you have a specific designation for your donation in mind, we encourage you to discuss your preferences with the Library in advance, to ensure your donation wishes can be met.

Other Gifts: If you wish to make a gift of cash, appreciated securities, real estate, have questions about planned giving or related questions, please contact Executive Director Noah Glaude at director@nols.org or 360-417-8500 x7717.

The North Olympic Library System is not a 501(c)(3), but as a local government in Washington State, donations to the Library may be tax deductible if they are for public purposes. If you wish to the support the Library but need to donate to a 501(c)(3), you can donate to the North Olympic Library Foundation or a Friend of the Library group. Please seek additional advice regarding your donation from a tax attorney or professional advisor. The Library cannot provide tax advice.

Book/Media Donations Not Accepted

The Library is unable to accept donations of books, audiobooks, DVDs or music CDs at this time. Magazines are still accepted for the Magazine Exchange. All other donated materials will not be accepted. Thanks for your understanding.
