New landscaping is being installed, just in time for the lovely spring weather we’ve been having. Hundreds of plants were delivered, including large trees and native shrubs. They’re being planted along new sidewalks and pathways around the building. To make maintenance easier, a new irrigation system is being installed as well.
At the old Sequim Library, students and residents walking from Sequim Avenue had to make their way through the parking lot to get to the building. That’s now being improved with a nice sidewalk that leads directly to the entrance, which meets all accessibility requirements and includes lighting along the way.
