February 27 – April 25, 2026
Port Angeles Main Library

Stitched Symbols: Contemporary Quilts celebrates the storytelling power of quilts. Explore how quilt artists use patterns, shapes, and colors to share their ideas.

Each quilt on display includes symbols that carry personal or cultural meaning. Some quilts offer comfort, others serve as messages or clues meant for certain audiences. Every stitch can hold meaning.

Opening Reception

Thank you to everyone who joined us on February 27 for the exhibition opening to meet the artists and enjoy a live set from Northstar Music.

Artwork Available for Purchase

If an exhibiting artist lists their work for sale, the art may be purchased directly from the artist; ask at the front desk for contact information. NOLS does not take a commission. All artwork will remain on view until the exhibition concludes, after which the library will return the work to the artist. The artist will then arrange pickup with the purchaser.

Support for Art in the Library exhibitions comes from the Port Angeles Friends of the Library.
