The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) and Humanities Washington will host a free virtual presentation “Hidden Layers: Women's Undergarments and How They've Shaped Ladies’ Liberties” on Wednesday, March 18, at 6 p.m. Register in advance at NOLS.org/HW to receive the Zoom link for the talk by costume designer Diane Johnston.
Families are invited to a Stuffie Sleepover on Tuesday, March 17, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Forks Library, 171 S. Forks Ave. Participants can wear their pajamas, make crafts and enjoy a special Storytime. Following the program, children can choose to leave their stuffed toys at the library for a fun-filled overnight adventure.

West End branches of the North Olympic Library System (NOLS) are hosting free Craft and Connect: Mini Suncatcher events in March. Using simple jewelry techniques, participants will create suncatchers by attaching a variety of small beads to chicken wire on embroidery hoops. The event provides a welcoming space to enjoy conversation and connect with friends and neighbors. Designed for adults, this craft requires good dexterity and the ability to use pliers. All supplies will be provided.
The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) is partnering with the Dungeness River Nature Center to present Nature Storytime at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at the center’s outdoor plaza, 1943 W. Hendrickson Rd., Sequim. The free 30-minute program is open to all ages and is geared toward children ages 5 and younger.
The Forks Branch Library, 171 S. Forks Ave., will offer Teen Tuesday on March 10 and April 7. These free events run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and provide teens in grades 7–12 with fun activities after school.
On February 26, the Board of Trustees for the North Olympic Library System (NOLS) approved a resolution to place a levy lid lift proposition on the April 28, 2026, special election ballot. It has been 16 years since NOLS last asked voters to restore the library levy.
