For Full-Time employees, NOLS offers the following health related benefits:

  • Partially-paid medical insurance coverage available for employee with dependent coverage option by payroll deduction.
  • Partially-paid dental insurance coverage available for employee with dependent coverage added at no extra cost.
  • $1750 per year employer-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA).
  • Employer-paid vision coverage for employee and all family members.

For Part-Time employees working at least 22.5hpw NOLS offers the following health related benefits at pro-rated rates:

  • Partially-paid medical insurance coverage available for employee with dependent coverage option by payroll deduction.

Full-time employees at NOLS receive the following amounts of leave:

  • 11 paid holidays each year
  • 15 days per year of vacation leave (increases after 10 and 16 years of service)
  • 5 days per year of personal leave
  • 12 days per year of sick leave

Amounts are pro-rated for part-time employees working at least 22.5hpw. Amounts are also pro-rated based on an employee’s start date. All employees are allowed minimum sick leave guaranteed under Washington State Law.

NOLS strives to contact every applicant to notify them of their status regardless if they were or were not selected as a semi-finalist. If you have not yet heard back from NOLS regarding the status of your application, it is likely that the review process is still underway. With that in mind, inquiries can be made to hr@nols.org.

In most cases a recruitment at NOLS takes about one month. In some cases, it may take longer. After the hiring managers begin reviewing applications, they will contact applicants of interest directly for telephone screening and/or an in-person interview.
