About the Sequim Branch Expansion Project

The cramped and aging branch library that serves the Sequim / Dungeness Valley area is a critical concern for NOLS. The Library is currently engaged in a community conversation, and other preliminary activities to find a solution.

During the Board of Trustees regular meeting on February 22, 2018, the Board considered and discussed conceptual design options for the proposed Sequim Branch Library expansion. At that meeting, the Board voted unanimously to move forward with further development of a plan to replace the existing building with a new building instead a remodel and addition to the existing building. Feasibility Study

A Feasibility Study conducted in 2014 answered some crucial preliminary questions about the current and future population of the area, and the ability of the current library site to support library service into the future. Learn more about the Feasibility Study.
