Curious about permaculture, or thinking of planting a sustainable garden to be more self-sufficient? David Boehnlein, co-author (with Jessi Bloom) of Practical Permaculture for Home Landscapes, Your Community, and the Whole Earth will discuss plant all-stars in the Northwest and homestead resiliency (planning for climate change and other uncertainties).
David Boehnlein serves as the education director at Bullock’s Permaculture homestead on Orcas Island. He is also Principal and a founder of Terra Phoenix Design, helping people achieve sustainability around the globe. Boehnlein offers Permaculture Design courses through Bastyr University’s Holistic Landscape Design Certificate Program, and Alderleaf Wilderness College’s Wilderness Certification Program. He is a member of both the Cascadia Permaculture Institute and the Permaculture Institute of North America.
