Author and artist Matt Kracht will talk about his books, OMFG, BEES!, The Field Guide to Dumb Birds of North America, and The Field Guide to Dumb Birds of the Whole Stupid World. Afterward, there will be a Q & A and book signing. His books will be available for purchase at the event.
About the Author
Matt Kracht is a national bestselling writer, artist, and amateur naturalist who creates books celebrating the humor inherent in life’s absurdities.
His Dumb Birds books have twice been finalists in the annual Goodreads Choice Awards (humor category), and he has been selected as a Literary Lion by Washington’s King County Library System Foundation for their 2023 Gala Fundraising event. He lives with his wife in Tacoma, where he enjoys walking along the waters of the Puget Sound, contemplating nature’s mysteries, and making fun of birds.
