Looking for some fun activities for the kids during spring break? The library will host three programs throughout the week for school-age children and their siblings to play, learn, and connect.


Second Saturday Science

The Second Saturday Science series—for ages 7 to 12—creates fun, hands-on opportunities for children to explore concepts related to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Registration is required due to space limitations.


Junior Science Explorers

Junior Science Explorers, a program designed for children ages 4-6 and their caregivers, will nurture your child's natural sense of adventure and curiosity, encourage your child to be a persistent problem solver, and introduce your child to basic elements of scientific reasoning with preschool and primary science activities. Registration is required.


Kids Create Art

Participants will create a mixed media umbrella project using a variety of paper types and coloring tools. Umbrella history and design will be discussed. Registration is required.
