Battle of Books

November 2023 – March 2024

Battle of the Books is a book group for 4th graders offered by NOLS in collaboration with schools in Clallam County. Students, including homeschool students, can sign up by October 30 through their teachers to participate and receive a free copy of each book.

From November through January, library staff will hold book discussions with participating classrooms.

For homeschool students: Please email youth@nols.org to help organize a homeschool discussion group.

Students will read the following titles during this year’s Battle of the Books program:

There will be a semi-final trivia competition held at each participating school in February.

The final trivia competition will be held at the Port Angeles Main Library in March.
