If you’re looking for a specific item that is not part of the North Olympic Library System’s collection, don’t give up. The Library may be able to acquire the item, either through purchase or by Interlibrary Loan.
NOLS welcomes customer suggestions for titles to purchase and regularly adds suggested titles to the library collection.
If the Library decides not to add a suggested title to the NOLS collection, trained library staff will search for your request in a world-wide database of academic, public and special libraries that have agreed to lend their materials to customers of other libraries.
If the library is able to acquire the item either through purchase or Interlibrary Loan, a hold request for it will be placed on your behalf.
Unfortunately, NOLS is not able to purchase all requested items, and not all items are available through interlibrary loan. If NOLS is not able to satisfy your request, you will be notified. Please let any staff member know if you have further questions or suggestions. Thank you!
