Change to Anytime Library - Kindle e-books and Penguin Publishing
Notice: Penguin Publishing announced that as of February 10, 2012, it is severing its relationship with OverDrive (Anytime Library). NOLS and other libraries will continue to have access to Penguin e-book titles they have already purchased, but will not be able to purchase new Penguin e-book titles.
Existing Penguin titles for Kindle will now have to be checked out and transferred via a USB cable instead of wirelessly. See the American Library Association’s press release for more information about Penguin’s decision here.

The catalog is the place where you can get recommendations from other people in your community and from around the world on what books to read! How about posting your reviews online just like Amazon.com? It’s one thing to read a professional literary review, but what if you just want to know what your friends and neighbors think of the latest James Patterson novel? Good news- the NOLS online catalog features an interactive customer review engine where you can rank and leave/view comments about materials you have read, viewed, or listened to.
The Reader Ratings and Reviews feature is easy to use. While browsing the catalog, just choose the “Reviews” link. This opens the review engine where you can view comments left by other users and leave feedback of your own. You’ll need to supply your library card number and username, but your card number will not display.
