Get a Library Card

Here's How to Get one... Getting a library card is easy! If you are a resident of Clallam County, bring in proof of identification and an item with your current local address on it. If your ID card does not have your current address on it—if you have recently moved to the area—bring in a current utility bill, checks imprinted with your new address, or other item that shows your new address. Your full service card allows you to check out unlimited items!

If you have proof of identity but nothing showing your current local address, you can at least get a limited service card. It allows you to check out up to five items at a time.

The library offers educators a special Educator Library Card. The Educator Card provides support for educators so that they may borrow library materials for use in classrooms and educational settings.

The library offers several other types of library cards as well. Please read the Library Cards Policy to find out more.

Click here to register online for a temporary card. You will be issued a permanent card when you come to the library and present your ID and current local address.
