  • Be prepared to list titles on an entry form when you get to the library.

  1. For each additional 3 books read before August 1.
  2. For each written or filmed book review for a young adult book.
  3. 'Like' the North Olympic Library System on Facebook.
  4. Design a movie poster for your favorite book.
  5. Create a WebComic.
  6. Make a costume for the CosPlay Ball.
  7. Attend a panel discussion or event at the Comic Con and get a ticket.

2015 Teen Comic Con

This year the library is hosting an all-day Comic Con extravaganza! Most events are open to all ages, but some are only for young adults (ages 12-18) who have signed up for the Summer Reading Program. Come in costume (or make one at the library), enter to win door prizes, and channel your inner superhero!

Calling for Superhero Volunteers

Youth Corps volunteers are critical to making summer reading a success.Volunteers assist with programs, help lead storytimes, and have fun. Snacks provided. To learn more, check out the applications below or call your local branch. Limited space is available. Spend your summer at the library!
