Summer Reading Corps

Get involved with your library this summer by volunteering with the summer reading corps! Volunteers help with a wide range of activities, have fun, and meet new people. It’s a great way to gain experience working behind the scenes at the library.

Participants in this workshop will learn the basic concepts of design such as the use of whitespace, balance, eye line and more. A limited number of computers are available; bring your own electronic device (BYOD) if you have one.

Those who have their own devices are guaranteed their own workspace; others may have to work collaboratively to produce their documents. The focus of the class will be on producing short stories or comic books online.
