WALK, RUN, DANCE, BIKE, JUMP, AND SKIP your way to the Library this summer! Receive a free book when you sign up for the 2016 Summer Reading Challenge, and earn chances to win an awesome new bike as you read during your vacation.

Sign up beginning June 20 at your library and keep track of what you read until August 20 for chances to win!

Summer Reading Challenge
HOW TO PLAY
Ages 3-12

  1. Sign up at your nearest NOLS library, and receive a free book!
  2. Read (or be read-to) for 14 hours or more. Keep track of the time you spend reading!
  3. For every 14 hours you read, you will receive an entry into the Grand Prize drawing for a new bike.
  4. A special NOLS t-shirt will be awarded to everyone who reads for 100 hours!

Bike Rodeo

Ages 2-12
Giddyup all you cyclists and ride on down to the Port Angeles Main Library for a Bike Rodeo.

Learn how to safely ride and maintain your bike at a series of stations and decorate your bike.
Complete all five stations and enter a raffle to win a special bike prize (must be present to win).

Tom Michowski of the Bike Garage will be on hand to explain how to take care of your bike.

Parental supervision and helmet required.
