2014 Summer Reading Program
for Kids

June 16 to August 2

This summer, the library is challenging kids to read (or be read to) for 14 hours or more between June 16 and August 2. Readers who complete the challenge will earn a free book (one book per reader, please) and a chance to win a tablet. All entries must be received by August 2.

How to participate:

  1. Visit your local library to sign up and get a game sheet.
  2. Read (or be read to) for 14 hours or more.
  3. Place a sticker on the game sheet for every 20 minutes you read.
  4. Visit the library and pick out your free book.
  5. For every 14 hours you read, you will be entered into a drawing for a tablet.
