North Olympic Library System Board of Trustees cancels Library closure

August 26, 2010 - At a special meeting on August 23, 2010, the Board of Trustees of the North Olympic Library System voted to cancel the Library closure and unpaid furlough for staff that had originally been scheduled for Monday, August 30 through Saturday, September 4.  Read Full Article

North Olympic Library System Board of Trustees votes to place levy proposition on August 17, 2010 ballot

April 23, 2010 - At their regular meeting on April 22, 2010, the Board of Trustees of the North Olympic Library System voted unanimously to pass a resolution asking Clallam County taxpayers, in the August 17, 2010 primary election, to restore the Library’s property tax levy rate from the current 33 cents to 50 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value.  Read Full Article

North Olympic Library System to increase overdue fines effective July 1st

June 15, 2010 - At their regular meeting on May 27, 2010, the Board of Trustees of the North Olympic Library System voted unanimously to increase the fine for overdue books and other materials from 10 cents per day to 20 cents per day, effective July 1, 2010.
